Director
With over 30 years of experience, Tim brings to his role as Director a logical, structured methodology which provides client-orientated practical outcomes through a hands-on approach.

Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying from Queensland University of Technology. While studying at QUT, he received a solid grounding in surveying by working for private firms throughout South-East Queensland. He returned to QUT in 1990 and acquired a Graduate Diploma in Surveying Practice. Tim then spent three years in Central Queensland working as a Mine Surveyor in coal mines. Moving to Redland Shire, he practiced as a Cadastral Surveyor before making the decision to move to Beaudesert to commence TJ Kelly Surveys consulting practice.
Mark Toombs

Principal Planner
Mark graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning in 1993. He has more than 25 years practical experience as a Town Planner and has worked in the fields of statutory and strategic planning in both the public and private sectors.

Mark has held planning and management positions with many local councils throughout Queensland including Cairns, Beaudesert, Redland City, Bowen and Thuringowa/ Townsville. Immediately prior to joining TJ Kelly Surveys in 2006, Mark was a Principal Advisor (Transport Planning) with the Department of Transport and Main Roads with responsibility for transport and land use planning for the North Queensland Region.

Surveying Associate
Carl is very much a local, having grown up with his family at Veresdale, near Beaudesert. Carl has a Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours) and is progressing through the process of becoming a Cadastral Surveyor.

Carl started with TJ Kelly Surveys in 2003 as a surveying student, and is currently registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Surveying Associate.
